The cruel nature of social media art. You have to work for months on end to produce something that people will want to see, but at the same time people will assume the worst if you go quiet for a while to work on that thing. I think Newgrounds is a bit more forgiving about this though, given that people here seem to be aware that animation takes FOREVER and thus only really pay attention to high-effort stuff, even if they have to wait FOREVER for their delayed gratification.
